it's been a while since i dated someone that wasn't superhero-adjacent. my points of comparison are pretty slim.
but you don't have to worry about explaining the job to anyone, which is nice. ( and by that he means the broken bones, the missed anniversaries, the absences. ) doesn't mean any of it's easier to deal with though.
( and he's had to go to funerals for three of his exes (who did not actually stay dead). )

Seems like being a hero and in a relationship is just all around a tough time... I had a hard enough time just balancing work with homework, back then. :/

I guess I kinda knew that already... Still, it's nice to have false hope! For a sec. My current relationship is, like, mega complicated. It's so complicated, it's not even a relationship anymore, because I'm pretty sure it takes two people knowing the other exists for it to be a relationship.

I never try to! Maaaan, it's not like that. 😭 My girlfriend forgot I existed because of magic. She got the heads up and wanted me to reconnect with her before memory of me went poof, and I want to reconnect, too... But it's kind of hard to explain without sound, y'know. Creepy.
